Assignments

About

This is the Assignments dashboard, where you can view all the assignments that have been setup and loaded onto the system.

Once an assignment is loaded, all information about it and its submissions - including the marks - are stored in the database. This information remains in the app even after deleting the assignment from the system's disk (e.g. after deleting the assignment / submissions files).

Main dashboard

In the main section, at the top, you can see the list of assignments in the system. You can select an assignment to view more information, and set it up for marking, or go directly to its Submissions dashboard to view the marks and mark the submissions.

In this example, there are two assignments and you can see the grading form they are set to use, and the deadline for the assignment submissions (for now it doesn't have any functional use).

You can go to the Assignment's page if you want to set / change any settings, or go directly to the Submissions dashboard where you can see the marks awarded and select a submission to mark. The number next to the Submissions dashboard link is the number of submissions for this assignment.

Stats & other information

At the bottom section you have a list with all the assignments in the system's database, with stats and extra information.

This section includes all assignments in the database, including hidden.

Hidden Assignments

You can hide assignments from the main dashboard at the top, so it doesn't get too crowded after some time if you use the app for multiple assignments. For example, you might want to hide an assignment after completing marking. As said above, hidden assignments are still listed at the bottom section Stats & other information.

You can set, or unset, an assignment as hidden at the Assignment's page.
